LOUD STORIES: OPERA, CHANSON AND LIEDER

Dramatic soprano Stephanie DePrez partners with Steinway Artist pianist Leann Osterkamp for a concert to introduce students and families to the classical voice.

Dramatic soprano Stephanie DePrez (UCLA) and Steinway Artist Leann Osterkamp (Juilliard) team up for an introduction to opera, French chanson and German Lieder. This recital is curated for the curious, with a specific welcome to those who might not usually find themselves at a concert of classical music. Stephanie is faculty at Arrupe Jesuit High School, and Leann is faculty at Regis Jesuit High School. Together, they emphasise the Jesuit ideal of “meeting people where they are” with an evening of music and laughter, in order to educate and inspire.
